Farm-A-Yard Podcast — It’s a movement… have ya heard?

Linda’s love affair, seed addiction, began a long time ago. It all started with seed catalogs.  According to “Seed, The Untold Story”, we have lost 92% of our seed diversity in the last century. How can we save seed diversity?  Start growing some seed!  Develop a relationship with seeds and let the process begin!  Seed catalogs are a wealth of information.  You can learn so much just by reading through catalogs. Pick catalogs from the regions you live in and consider building a seed library in your area from seeds that worked well for you. Growing food should be a collaborative, collective dance among us!  Check out Linda’s list below in the show notes and start planning today! Take action, ask questions!  Share your seed stories. We want to hear from you!

  1. Eden Brothers, Reimer seed, Nichole’s Garden Nursery are my favorite. Eden Brothers offers non GMO seeds and free shipping on Fridays, Reimer seed has any seed you might think of and also non GMO,
Nicholes Garden Nursery has the best herbs and also non GMO there are so many seed catalogs, All except Burgess seed and plant co they don’t back up their clams or they don’t have very good seed or plants .
